To be built in Italy, the new ship will join Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth as part of the iconic Cunard fleet in 2022.

Over the last few years, we have had so much to be proud of at Cunard – from the magnificent celebrations for our 175th anniversary, that drew crowds of more than a million people in Liverpool, to the stunning £120m refurbishments of our flagship Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria. As we mark 50 years since the naming of the much loved liner QE2, we wanted to share our most exciting news yet.

ASCEND TO NEW LEVEL OF LUXURY
A crisp, modern makeover refines grand elegance of the Grills
Queen Mary 2’s renowned Queens and Princess Grill suites and restaurants will undergo
lavish enhancements in May and June 2016, ascending to a new level of luxury, sharing
company with the world’s finest five star hotels. Cunard’s iconic flagship will stay true to her
classic art deco heritage, while offering updated, crisp, contemporary interiors painstakingly re-designed for today’s most discerning travellers, and further solidifying the unique position of these distinctively luxurious at-sea accommodations.

The Cunard Grills experience affords the line’s most selective guests the highest standards of comfort at sea with large, well-appointed suites, all with prime locations and private
balconies.

CUNARD APPOINTS INTERIOR DESIGNER FOR QUEEN MARY 2
Major 2016 refit being developed in collaboration with British design company
SMC and thousands of Cunard guests.

Cunard has appointed SMC Design to lead the development of Queen Mary 2's
interior spaces in preparation for her forthcoming major refit in 2016. The Cunard
flagship will undergo a multi-million 25-day (27 May – 21 June) extensive
refurbishment that will see new interior designs and new guest experiences
introduced on the most iconic ship in the world as she begins the next chapter in
what has already been an illustrious career.

Music legends Crosby, Stills & Nash announced as headline act aboard Queen Mary 2 on Transatlantic Crossing 4 September 2015.

Cunard is proud to announce that Crosby, Stills & Nash will perform a series of exclusive concerts on board the company’s Flagship, Queen Mary 2, during her 4-11 September Transatlantic Crossing.

The Grammy® Award winning trio, who first performed together at the now legendary Woodstock Festival over four decades ago, will perform three exclusive concerts for passengers on board Queen Mary 2 during the seven-night Transatlantic Crossing from New York to Southampton.

"This will be a unique experience for us,” said Graham Nash. "We're really looking forward to making music, bringing back memories and creating new ones - and this journey from New York to Southampton, on this beautiful vessel, will do just that.”

In januari 2015 gaan vijf wereldreizen met 103 of 112 overnachtingen van start met vijf verschillende cruiseschepen van P&O of de legendarische Cunard-rederij. Wie een van die wereldcruises boekt, moet zich ook geen zorgen meer maken over de verplaatsing tussen de woonplaats en Southampton. Die is namelijk in de prijs inbegrepen.

NEW VIDEO CLIP SHOWS TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCES OF MULTI-MILLION POUND REFIT ABOARD CUNARD’S QUEEN ELIZABETH
A new 4 minute video tells the story of the recent multi-million pound refit that took places aboard Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth, creating nine new single staterooms, laying over 25,000 square metres of carpeting, replacing over 3,000 mattresses, installing 1,200 flat screen TVs, adding new awnings on the sun decks, remodelling the Lido restaurant and Royal Arcade shopping area, and on the technical side, replacing a 65 tonne alternator.

Queen Victoria to make a rare Cunard overnight in Liverpool to celebrate Aquitania Centenary
When Queen Victoria arrives in Liverpool on Friday 30 May 2014 she will be celebrating history as well as making a little bit of history herself. Queen Victoria is in Liverpool to mark the departure, exactly 100 years earlier on 30 May 1914, of Aquitania one of the most famous and beloved ships in Cunard history. Queen Victoria will remain overnight thus making the first overnight call in Cunard’s ‘spiritual’ home of Liverpool by a Cunard passenger ship since Franconia in January 1968 – almost 50 years ago!

Cunard celebrated the 10th anniversary of its flagship, Queen Mary 2 with the arrival of the whole three ship fleet in Southampton this morning (09 May 2014). This was a rare occasion to see all Three Queens together, and Southampton is the only place in the world to have hosted the Three Queens three times.
